Law Week Program

2026 Law Week | An annual celebration of the legal profession and the community it serves

Law Week 2026 – Monday, 18 May 2026 to Friday, 22 May 2026.

Law Week provides an opportunity to place a spotlight on issues affecting access to justice in the community.

In producing Law Week, the Law Society is delighted to place a focus on Justice | Connection | Community as a means of inviting diverse members of the legal community to engage and participate in Law Week each year.

Law Week is made possible by the many organisations who provide free events for the community to build awareness of legal services and how legal services can help them. The Law Society’s role is to curate Law Week and to provide a platform for all organisations who wish to provide an event for the public. In addition, the Law Society presents some key Law Week events to complement the entire Law Week Program.

The Society is proud to provide a platform for the legal community to come together, share stories and celebrate the good work of the profession during this special week and beyond.

We encourage the legal profession to participate in Law Week and register an event or initiative.
