Law Week Grant Application

Small grants of up to $400 are available to support local not-for-profit organisations to deliver community focused activities for Law Week 2026. Activities must enhance access to justice, legal education, or related public benefit outcomes. 

Applicants must: 

  1. Be a not-for-profit organisation 
  2. Be either a Community Legal Centre, a community organisation with an internal legal service or a community organisation in partnership with a legal service 

Applications are not open to individuals, political parties, or for-profit entities. 

Activities must address one of the following: 

  • Address a civil legal issue for a specific community 
  • Focus on providing community legal education 
  • Deliver legal information or help to navigate the WA justice system 

Budget: 

Please provide a simple budget that demonstrates the expenditure of costs.  

Grant Conditions: 

Successful applications will be required to: 

  • Submit a brief post-event summary of the activity and outcomes 
  • Include Law Week branding on promotional material where possible (Law Society will provide). 
  • Tag the Law Society of Western Australia in all social media posts
