Law Week provides an opportunity to place a spotlight on issues affecting access to justice in the community. In producing Law Week, the Law Society is delighted to place a focus on Justice, Connection and Community as a means of inviting diverse members of the legal community to engage and participate in Law Week each year.
Law Week is made possible by the many organisations who provide free events for the community to build awareness of legal services and how legal services can help them. The Law Society’s role is to curate Law Week and to provide a platform for all organisations who wish to provide an event for the public. In addition, the Law Society presents some key Law Week events to complement the entire Law Week Programme.
Always a much-anticipated programme of events that is soon to be advised, the Society is proud to provide a platform for the legal community to come together, share stories and celebrate the good work of the profession during this special week and beyond.
We invite you to hold a Law Week Event in 2025
The Society is once again inviting you to participate in Law Week, share conversations and promote your work to the public and the profession.
We encourage you to hold your own event any time in the two week period – Monday, 19 May to Friday, 23 May 2025.
Your participation is important for the success of Law Week and the Society can help promote your activities to the wider public through its communication channels. If you wish to arrange for your firm, organisation, court or community centre to hold a Law Week event and have this included in the 2025 online Law Week Programme, please send an Expression of Interest to Membership@lawsocietywa.asn.au
