The Law Society of Western Australia congratulates Mr Stephen Wright, Ms Amanda Burrows and Mr Simon Freitag, each of whom has been appointed Senior Counsel, as announced today by the Chief Justice of Western Australia, the Hon Wayne Martin AC.
Mr Wright practises as a barrister, specialising in native title, including Aboriginal heritage, trusts and mining, and taxation, Ms Burrows is a criminal prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, while Mr Freitag practises as a criminal barrister from Albert Wolff Chambers.
Law Society President Alain Musikanth said, “I warmly congratulate Mr Wright, Ms Burrows and Mr Freitag on their appointments as Senior Counsel. All are highly regarded and respected senior Western Australian advocates, and their appointments are reflective of their eminence, integrity and independence.”
