Costs

The Costs Committee involves practitioners with expertise in costs law and has the primary function of making recommendations to the Law Society Council in relation to reviews of costs scales conducted by the state-based statutory Legal Costs Committee (LCC).

The Cost Committee considers issues relating to solicitor/client costs compliance including costs disclosure, billing practices, cost agreements and ethical conduct with respect to costs.
