Navigating Change: Unveiling the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 2023

This seminar will take a look at the pivotal updates and amendments to the workers’ compensation scheme in WA set to commence from 1 July 2024. It will shed a light on the shifts in policies and procedures as a result of these amendments. From refined injury reporting and liability mechanisms to the redefined scope of compensable injuries, and the inclusion of a Catastrophic Injuries Support Scheme, this seminar will navigate through the new legislation and WorkCover WA’s functions. Join us as we unravel the nuances of these changes, providing insights into the implications for employers, workers and insurers alike.
