Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from AML CTF expert Neil Jeans,  Partner Risk Consulting at Grant Thornton, as he unpacks the incoming AML CTF reforms and what they mean for legal practitioners that provide designated services that are captured by the Tranche 2 reforms which commence on 1 July 2026.
Neil has a unique background in financial crime risk management spanning almost 30 years, including working at senior levels managing AML CTF, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery compliance across Europe, the US, Latin America, Asia, and Australia. Neil has been providing specialist AML CTF consultancy services since 2012, including giving advice and support to businesses subject to AML CTF regulation, developing and delivering ML TF risk assessments and AML CTF programs, undertaking independent reviews of the adequacy of AML CTF compliance and the supporting systems and controls, and providing advisory services in relation to regulatory compliance and regulatory enforcement activity.
In this session Neil will explore the AML CTF Rules, core guidance and sector specific guidance, and explain the key concepts and obligations for the legal profession, including how you can prepare for the incoming obligations.
